Hunter began sitting on horses before he was walking himself. He grew up a very competitive little athlete and started playing polo as soon as he could hold the mallet up when he was 7. Hunter played on the Open High School team and became the captain of his own team when he was 15. He got the opportunity to play for the Cornell High School polo team for his final high school year, winning himself 5 All-Star awards over the years. Hunter enjoys playing professionally, primarily out on the polo field. Beside winning numerous Best Playing Ponies. he also won Player of the Season at the Ocala Polo Club in 2023. He continues to help his parents train giving young Thoroughbreds a second career on the polo field. Hunter coaches and teaches new players and members. Hunter is a Certified USPA Umpire. Hunter also holds a 3 goal handicap on the grass.
